An arahant. In the time of Padumuttara Buddha be was a grass-cutter of Hamsavatī and gave to the Buddha his only upper garment. As a result he reigned in heaven thirty-six times and was king of men thirty-three times.

He had the power of obtaining garments at will wherever he happened to be. Ap.ii.379f.
