A householder who realised Nibbāna from knowledge of the Tathāgata.

 

He is mentioned in a list of such householders, but nothing further is known of him (A.iii.451).

 

Is he connected with Tikanna (q.v.)?

 

The Commentary (AA.ii.696) says he was also called Tapakannika.
